It includes one 18V 4.0Ah lithium-ion battery and a 4A fast charger that fills the battery in 60 minutes — making it the ideal starting point if you bought a bare-skin V20 tool, or a smart upgrade if you're running a 2.0Ah pack and want more run time between charges.

The 4.0Ah battery delivers double the capacity of a standard 2.0Ah pack, so you get more drilling, fastening, cutting, or grinding done before you need to reach for the charger. An integrated LED state of charge indicator on the battery lets you check your remaining power at a glance before you start a job — no surprises mid-task.

The improved V20 lithium-ion technology eliminates memory effect and keeps self-discharge to a minimum, so the battery holds its charge when stored and is ready to work whenever you are. The battery is fully compatible with every tool in the 18V Stanley FatMax V20 cordless platform, including drills, hammer drills, circular saws, reciprocating saws, angle grinders, impact drivers, and V20 outdoor power equipment.
