DESCRIPTION

The Sky Dry Ground Mount Kit lets you install any Sky Dry folding clothesline — Metro 180, Modern 240 or Maxi 300 — on a post rather than a masonry wall. Available in two versions to suit your ground type.

  • Standard (Soil/Grass): Post driven into the ground for soft soil and lawn areas.
  • Plated (Concrete): Post fixed to a concrete base plate for hard surfaces and paved areas.

Compatible with all Sky Dry wall-mount clothesline models apart from Mini 80.

WHY IT'S PERFECT FOR YOU

Sky Dry clotheslines are normally wall-mounted on masonry, but not every backyard has the right wall in the right place. The Ground Mount Kit gives you a freestanding post option so you can install any Sky Dry folding clothesline wherever it works best in the yard.

The Standard Kit suits installation in soil or grass using a ground anchor. The Plated Kit is for concrete surfaces and uses a bolt-down base plate. Both are Australian made to match the Sky Dry range and include all hardware needed for installation.

Whether you're working around a rendered wall, a paved courtyard, or simply want to position the clothesline in the sunniest part of the yard, the Ground Mount Kit removes the need for a masonry wall entirely.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We’ve got answers!

Which Sky Dry clotheslines is the Ground Mount Kit compatible with?

The Ground Mount Kit is compatible with all four Sky Dry folding clotheslines: the Mini 80, Metro 180, Modern 240 and Maxi 300.

What's the difference between the Standard and Plated Ground Mount Kits?

The Standard kit is for soil and grass and uses a ground anchor system. The Plated kit is for concrete surfaces and uses a bolt-down base plate. Choose the version that matches your ground surface.

Do I need the Ground Mount Kit if I have a brick wall?

Not necessarily. Sky Dry clotheslines can be wall-mounted directly onto masonry walls. The Ground Mount Kit is for situations where there's no suitable wall, or where you'd prefer to position the clothesline on a post in the open yard.

Is the Sky Dry Ground Mount Kit Australian made?

Yes. Like all Sky Dry products, the Ground Mount Kit is made in Australia.

Does the Ground Mount Kit include all the hardware needed for installation?

Yes. Both the Standard and Plated versions include the hardware required for installation on their respective surface type.
