Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We’ve got answers!

What is the difference between the Rockwell RG8254 and RG8254.9?

The RG8254 is the full kit including battery and charger. The RG8254.9 is the skin only — the tool without a battery or charger.

What battery does the Rockwell RG8254.9 use?

It uses Rockwell's 18V battery platform. Battery and charger are sold separately.

What is the blade length of the Rockwell RG8254.9?

510mm — suited to general garden hedges, shrubs, and garden borders.

Is the Rockwell RG8254.9 good for tall hedges?

The RG8254.9 is suited to general-height hedges. For tall hedges requiring overhead reach, a pole hedge trimmer is more appropriate.

Can I use the RG8254.9 with the battery from my Rockwell drill?

Yes — it shares the same 18V battery platform as other Rockwell 18V tools.
