DESCRIPTION

The Sky Dry Modern 240 is a wall-mounted folding clothesline made in Ingleburn, NSW. At 2400mm wide with up to 15 lines of drying space, it suits households of 1 to 4 people with larger laundry loads. Choose from three depth configurations.

Available in 11 Colorbond colours. Suitable for masonry wall mounting. Can be paired with a ground mount kit for post installation.

WHY IT'S PERFECT FOR YOU

The Modern 240 gives you 2400mm of drying width, making it the stronger choice for households with a steady volume of washing, or anyone who wants to get more done in a single load. Depending on arm depth, you get 24 to 36m of line space across 10 to 15 lines.

Like all Sky Dry clotheslines, it folds flat against the wall in seconds when not in use — so it doesn't occupy outdoor space on the days you don't need it. Made in Ingleburn, NSW from powder-coated steel, it comes in Monument, Woodland Grey and Surfmist.

Choose from a 900mm, 1200mm or 1500mm arm depth to suit the space you have. If a masonry wall isn't available, pair it with the Sky Dry Ground Mount Kit (sold separately) to install it on a freestanding post.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We’ve got answers!

How much drying space does the Sky Dry Modern 240 have?

It depends on arm depth. The 900mm arm gives 10 lines and 24m. The 1200mm arm gives 13 lines and 31.2m. The 1500mm arm gives 15 lines and 36m.

What's the difference between the Modern 240 and the Metro 180?

The Modern 240 is 600mm wider at 2400mm compared to the Metro 180's 1800mm. That extra width means more lines and more drying space at every arm depth — making the Modern 240 a better fit for households with more washing.

What wall type is needed to install the Modern 240?

Sky Dry wall-mounted clotheslines require a masonry wall — brick or rendered brick. The Sky Dry Ground Mount Kit (sold separately) is available for homes without a suitable wall.

Does the Modern 240 fold away when not in use?

Yes. The arms fold flush against the mounting panel so the clothesline is completely out of the way when you don't need it. It takes only a few seconds to open or close.

What warranty does the Modern 240 come with?

The steel frame has an 11-year structural warranty. The cord is covered for 1 year.
